Claus Porto – Cerina (Brise Marine) Soap Bar

This woody, clean scent takes its aroma from the Mediterranean pine and sea moss that grow on Portugal’s rugged coast. A breezy sweetness comes from the white flowers of juniper and cyclamen, which combine with vetyver to lend an exhilarating effect, like a spray of fresh saltwater. The line is designed around a Portuguese galleon, a nod to the country’s affinity with the sea.

Claus Porto was founded in 1887 and still uses many of the same processes today. To ensure lasting, consistent fragrance and ultra creamy lather, these soaps are finely milled seven times. Each soap is molded and pressed by hand, then aged in an old-fashioned drying room, resulting in a denser, longer-lasting bar. These 100% vegetable based soaps contain all natural shea butter and are beautifully hand wrapped in traditional art deco packaging recreated from original designs in the factories archives.
